Chongqing Huguang Guild Hall

As a national 4A level scenic area, the large-scale, classical and elegant antique architectural complex of Chongqing Huguang Guild Hall lies at No. 4, Dongshuimen Central Street, Yuzhong District. Sichuan Giant Immigration Museum is situated in the guild hall. Chongqing Huguang Guild Hall is the largest-scale classical guild hall architectural complex within the main urban areas in the city south of the Yangtze River in China. The construction began during the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, which evidently shows that over 200 years ago, Chongqing, the commercial hub in the southwest, attracted tens of thousands of merchants who contributed to the prosperity of the thoroughfares of eight provinces.
