The Yunbulagang Palace

Yumbulagang , Tibet’s first palace ,is situated about five kilometers south of the Tradrug.. It is the royal palace of Nyatri Tsanpo, the first Tsanpo of the Yarlung Valley. It stands looking like a tent pitched on the summit of a hill, narrow at the top and broad at the bottom. The walls are still standing; the windows still in evidence, and only the roof had long since collapsed.
